Bring $1 to Wear Crazy Socks and Help Catholic School Hurricane Victims
Student to Student is a program which helps other Catholic schools that have been hit by the three recent hurricanes (Harvey, Irma, and Maria). The project is run by the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), but at Saint John School it is led by eighth grader Samantha Armstrong.
“The administration has asked us to donate $1 or more for each student, and if you do donate, you’ll get the opportunity to wear crazy socks on Thursday, October 12. All money goes to helping Catholic schools in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico,” she stated.
These hurricanes were catastrophic events, so the more donated, the better. Saint John School’s goal is for 100% participation.
