We are very proud of Kiley Dillon, our 8th grade spelling bee contestant that commenced to the San Diego Regional Spelling Bee in early March. The Spelling Bee took place at the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA gymnasium in San Diego. Kiley was joined by 77 other top ranked spelling bee champs to start the competition. The words progressively became more difficult with each round. The intensity increased along with the difficulty and Kiley made it through the 2nd round, along with only 38 spellers. Kiley made it to the 3rd round, but was eliminated there. Only 17 spellers commenced forward. We are so proud of Kiley and her achievement and for representing the Saint John School Eagles!
