The Ignatius Book Fair visits SJS!

During Catholic Schools Week, we welcomed the Ignatius Book Fair to Saint John School for the second year in a row. Our campus was filled with excitement and a love of books as students visited the fair.

Each class had a special time to browse and thoughtfully choose books they are excited to read. The fair continued throughout the week as students returned with their grandparents on Grandparents’ Day and even again with their families on Sunday!

With their beautiful selection of books that align with our Catholic values, the fair reflects their tagline: fostering faith, one chapter at a time.

Thanks to the dedication of two incredible parent volunteers who ran the fair, it was a tremendous success! As a result, the school received over $3,000 worth of books for our school and classroom libraries. We are so grateful for their leadership and the way they helped bring our school community together in support of reading.

At Saint John School, we believe that readers are leaders and this week was a powerful reminder that when we nurture a love of reading, grounded in shared values, we are forming confident and faith-filled leaders for the future.
