To commemorate the Feast of Saint Francis, Saint John School families brought their pets to school.  Father Ben Awongo lead the community in prayer and then blessed all the pets (along with many students) with holy water.  One parent commented, “This is my favorite day of the school year!  It is such a joyous occasion!”

Pets of all variety were present for the blessing including many dogs, cats, lizards, guinea pigs, and even a fish and a chicken!
