Saint John School 3^rd graders and 7^th graders have been working on a joint science project.  For the last 3 weeks, students have been developing an in-depth understanding of content and developing key skills—communication, collaboration, inquiry, problem solving, and flexibility through the study of the life cycle and embryology of a chicken.  Both grade levels have kept journals as they have observed 25 eggs through the incubation and hatching process.  Third grade student, Lucas M, shared his wonder in how fast feathers formed!  To date 17 chicks have hatched!
