Our 8th grade has been taking the time to spend with our younger Eagles, on campus, over a good book! 8th graders have read with Kindergarten and First Grade friends over the course of this school year. Showing the example of taking the time to read and enjoy the characters, stories, and relaxing over a good book together, our 8th grade students leadership with literacy benefited many!

“It has been a great year and honor sharing the gift of reading with our special Saint John friends,” said one 8th grade representative.

Kindergarten and First grade looked forward to the peaceful and relaxing time with the middle schoolers and were connected over reading a book together. Literacy with Little Friends has been a successful pairing this school year!
