Faith in Action, Easter Baskets for the Less Fortunate
The 8th Grade Faith in Action class created an unbelievable act of service for our Saint John Food Pantry. Engaging our school community to come together to cultivate items such as colorful chocolates and art supplies, donations from our school families amounted to over 100 Easter baskets for those who face hardship. Students also gave out 50 sets of resurrection eggs, to serve as a reminder of what this Easter season is truly all about, Jesus’ love.
8th Grade students served the Food Pantry on Monday by assisting clients to their cars, utilizing bilingual skills, and offering a sense of solidarity and open hearts. A true act of service to our local neighbors, the 8th grade Faith in Action class brought joy to the Food Pantry this Easter season!
