Our second grade classes completed an exciting project: Flat Jesus Presentations. Stemming from the book series, Flat Stanley, by Jeff Brown, students replicated the premise of the story where the main character becomes flat. Students celebrated adventures that come with being able to travel in an envelope and shared all of the places that their “Flat Jesus” was able to visit. 2nd graders were asked to send their Flat Jesus on an adventure and then reported to the class about the many places Flat Jesus encountered. A fun project for everyone to present as well as listen to others’ about their adventures!
