68th Greater San Diego Science & Engineering Fair

A total of 305 student exhibitors went through virtual interviews with judges last week for the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair. Saint John School proudly had 18 students of the 198 junior level division participants, which spanned 43 area schools. Five of our Saint John students represented our middle school with a 1st place win, all of which will be moving on to the California State Science and Engineering Fair. Two of our students were awarded the Broadcom Masters nod as well and will have the chance to compete with their projects at a national level in the fall. Congratulations to all the various Society Award winners- 7 of our SJS students represented in various areas such as the Office of Naval Research, the San Diego Psychological Association, Marine Technology, Academy of American Pediatrics, and the Society of Women Engineers. Congratulations to all of the Saint John Science Fair winners on impressive work! Thank you to Mrs. Heins for leading and guiding these students to success!
