Our Application Process
Thank you for your interest in Saint John School. We welcome all students from Preschool-8th Grade.
At Saint John School, each child is taught, encouraged, and expected to exhibit Catholic attitudes and behavior while realizing his/her individual academic potential. We partner with parents as primary educators, and guide the spiritual, intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and cultural growth of our children.
Students of families already enrolled in Saint John School receive the first priority for admission during the priority registration period. Open enrollment begins after the priority period and students will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Preference for admittance will be given in the following priority in the event of a waiting list:
- First Priority – Students of families already enrolled at Saint John School
- Second Priority – Registered, active, supporting members of Saint John Parish
- Third Priority – Catholic, non-parishioners
- Fourth Priority – Non-Catholic students whose parents subscribe to the school’s philosophy and agree to abide by the educational policies and regulations of Saint John School and the Diocese of San Diego.
There is currently a wait list for all grades. We are accepting waitlist interest from now through the 2026-2027 school year.
