WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT?
We welcome young learners with open arms! Here’s a simple guide to help you know when your child can join us:
- Preschool Program: Children must turn three by September 1
- Kindergarten: Children must turn five by September 1
- First Grade: Children must turn six by September 1
We understand that each child develops at their own pace, and we’ll assess their readiness through a standardized assessment process. Our aim is to ensure that your child feels comfortable and confident as they begin this exciting chapter in their education. We can’t wait to meet them!
WHAT ARE YOUR SCHOOL HOURS?
Regular Instruction Hours:
Preschool – 7:45 am – 2:50pm
Grades K-8 – 8:15 am – 2:50 pm
We also offer Extended Care Service for students requiring an earlier drop-off and/or a later pick-up time. Our hours for this service are as follows:
Before School Care:
Preschool – 7:15 am – 7:45 am
K-8 – 7:15 am – 7:50 am
After School Care (All grades):
3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
DO YOU OFFER TUITION ASSISTANCE?
Saint John School has a limited tuition assistance program that is available to families with severe financial needs. Contact the office at (760) 944-8227 for further information and application instructions.
WHAT ARE FAMILY COMMITMENTS?
Saint John School is a cooperative endeavor in which every family in the school community has a vital role to play. It is our privilege to serve one another in the Christian community and, at the same time, provide the best education possible for our children.
The success of Saint John School depends upon the community sharing their time, talent, and treasure. Each family is required to volunteer a minimum of 30 hours of service to the school with ten hours accumulated in the area of fundraising.
WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS SPECIAL LEARNING NEEDS?
At Saint John School, our Learning Support Program is dedicated to embracing the unique learning journeys of each and every student. We understand that every child is wonderfully different, and we’re here to celebrate and support those differences.
Our Learning Support Program goes the extra mile to create personalized learning plans for students who may benefit from our services. These Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) are crafted with care to provide just the right accommodations and modifications, tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
Our heartfelt mission is to ensure that every student enjoys an equal opportunity to thrive in the classroom. We’re here to make sure that learning is an accessible and joyful experience for all.
